Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions section. On this page we try to answer the most common frequently asked questions (or FAQ) as much as possible. If you can not find the information you are looking for, feel free to contact us.General
All start dates of scheduled courses can be found on the Course Information pages. Select a category and a course and all relevant information including start dates and time of the selected course will be shown.

Normaly a course starts at 09.00 and will finish at 16.30 o’clock. Deviating starting times will be mentioned in the order confirmation.
Delegates are expected to be present at least 15 minutes before the start of the course.
For all practical training courses DHTC will supply the necessary protective clothing and equipment. All you need is a towel and extra dry clothes and underwear. See also the DHTC order confirmation for details.
Offshore
If you would like to work offshore you need valid certificates of the offshore basic safety course (Nogepa 0.5A) and CA-EBS (NOGEPA 0.5C) course. You also need a valid offshore medical certificate.
A list of recognised Physicians can be found on the NOGEPA website. An OGUK or OLF medical certificate will be accepted.
Don’t forget to check if you also need a medical certificate in the use of breathing apparatus. This is mentioned in the relevant course information & our order confirmation.
NOGEPA recognised Physicians in Den Helder:
Yes, according the Mutual recognition, NOGEPA 0.5 courses are accepted in the U.K. and Norway (with additional training).

No, if the validity of your NOGEPA certificate has expired, participation in a refresher course is only possible with dispensation from NOGEPA.
Please use the NOGEPA Request for Dispensation form and send the completed form to Gert-Jan Windhorst Secretary Operations/ H&S at NOGEPA.
Before the start of the course DHTC must be in the possession of a copy signed by NOGEPA.
To maintain and improve the course audit system (and as a consequence the quality control of courses), NOGEPA introduced the “NOGEPA Fee” in July 2013.
The cost of the NOGEPA Certificate Fee is mentioned in the course details as “Registration costs”.
